 Endocrine system - a system consisting of glands of internal secretion.

Doctors involved in diseases of the endocrine system are named endocrinologist. Endocrinologists determine the diagnosis of diseases affecting gland secretion. In case of problems with the endocrine system, first of all  the doctor must refer you to an endocrinologist.

Endocrinologists diagnose hormonal disorders and other problems and treat them. They are engaged in a variety of diseases:

- Diabetes (diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus);

- Thyroid disease;

- Metabolic disorders;

- Large or small secretion of hormones;

- Menopause;

- Osteoporosis;

- Hypertension;

- Diseases associated with fat metabolism;

- Infertility;

- Stunting (low height);

- Cancer of gland secretion (tumor);

- Excess weight.

In addition, endocrinologists can conduct some tests to inspect the secretion of glands.
